Plasmafication™ is a method of waste management that uses AC and DC currents on Plasma torches to create an electrical arc that demolecularizes matter. Our plants use a Plasma Arc converter as the central part of the waste disposal process. The thermo-chemical processes generate Hydrogen gas, recoverable metals, glass, carbon black, and a synthetic gas mixture of H2, CO, and N4, which can all be captured and resold.
The Plasma Arc converter totally destroys all waste entering into the system. A significant advantage of using a Plasma Arc process is that it eliminates waste while producing no regulated hazardous waste by-products, only reusable, saleable by-products. Other medical disposal systems such as autoclaving, sterilization, incineration, and microwave disposal operations produce residual waste that is taken to landfills, emits toxins into the air, or is flushed into sewer systems that could reenter into local water systems. The Plasma Arc process burns clean and leaves no waste, therefore does not have residual to be disposed of in landfills. The process produces five recyclable, saleable, non-hazardous elemental end-products:
These plants would are managed day-to-day by either franchise operators, whose staff is trained by Plasma Arc Technologies, or by a division of our company established to operate plants. This technology ideally lends itself to highly populated states, small countries, or island statehoods where land is limited and too valuable to feasibly allow for large landfills as a long-term solution to disposing of waste (both hazardous and non-hazardous).
